Positive Mental Attitude. That is what I am practicing daily. It is not easy when surrounded by negative influences everywhere, ie the news, coworkers and general public. But I am resounded to achieve it, I must.
I have taken a new approach to how I look at things lately and it truly is shocking to realize how miserable the general public is. We are living in the most amazing time and no one seems happy. For instance yesterday at a fast food restaurant I just listened to conversations around me and was surprised at people's behaviour and thought process. I had my two youngsters with me and could not believe that they were indeed acting more mannerly than most of the people around me.
There is an old saying that life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. I like that saying and I myself am going to try to react less to what life throws at me.
This week I have decided that I will LIVE more, stop running around like a mad woman possessed to get everything done in one day. I will make more time for fun! I will leave the dirty laundry and go play ball with my boys before they grow up and are gone. I will go out and hug my lovely, dirty, hairy horse and smell his wonderful horsey scent. With all the hurt in the world today I suggest you all go hug your four legged friends as well!

Seeing the glass half full seems to be a lost art to many. I'm glad it's something I finally managed to learn. It sure makes a big difference in my attitude and makes life so much more enjoyable.
So along with MM, I'l say, AMEN and throw in a little, SISTER!! to go along with it. Life IS what we make it!
BTW, don't know if I'm remembered to say this or not but love this pic in your header. The only way it could be better is if we could see your pretty face too.
